IRONDOG is a charity that raises money for animals whose owners cannot afford their medical care. IRONDOG members raise pledges for completion of endurance athletic events. These funds will be used to support the medical and surgical management of dogs and cats hospitalized at Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. With the increasing cost of veterinary care and the current state of Michigan’s economy, many pet owners are forced to make difficult decisions based on financial constraints. In many of these cases, curative treatment options are available, yet not affordable. If we can help just one animal and its family then the vision of IRONDOG will be fulfilled.
IRONDOG race registration fees and your generous donations are made directly to the fund and are used to sponsor selected cases at MIchigan State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. We are proud to announce the third annual IRONDOG 5k Run/Walk on the campus of MSU! The IRONDOG 5K race registration fees, sponsorship, and your generous donations are used to support the veterinary care of the wonderful companion animals hospitalized at MSU. Last year's event raised over $10,000 for the fund and we are expecting an even bigger turnout in 2012. We hope to see you all in March!"
